Sven Peillex is a 22-year-old professional freeskier from Morzine, France, and a member of the French National Team A. He competes in slopestyle and big air on the World Cup and European Cup circuits.

From Morzine to the World Cup

Sven grew up in Morzine in the French Alps and started skiing at around three years old. Freestyle quickly became his passion, because it lets him be creative, express himself and keep pushing his limits. He made his World Cup debut in 2023, and in 2024 he became French Big Air Champion in Val Thorens, joined the French National Team and took his first European Cup podium in big air in Corvatsch.

Back stronger

A knee injury kept Sven out of the 2024–2025 season. The setback made him more determined and taught him the value of hard work, patience and consistency. Back on snow, he finished 16th in the World Cup big air in Steamboat, won the European Cup slopestyle in Prato Nevoso in 2026, and ended the 2025–2026 season 4th overall in the European Cup slopestyle and big air rankings and 25th overall in the World Cup big air.

Eyes on 2030

Sven’s goal is to keep improving, compete against the best riders in the world and deliver strong results at the highest level. Off snow, he trains with cycling, ice hockey and strength work to get ready for winter. His biggest dream is to represent France at the 2030 Winter Olympics. Until then, the focus is simple: progress every day, push his limits and enjoy what he loves most, skiing.
