MEET PAMPEANO
THE ANDES, STITCHED BY HAND
The polo belt is a classic from Argentina, and pampeano still makes it the traditional way. Master artisans stitch wax-dipped threads into vegetable-tanned full-grain leather by hand. The pattern is the pampa diamond, inspired by the peaks of the Andes.
The leather is tanned slowly with natural tannins from oak and chestnut bark, so it builds a deeper patina every season you wear it. The wax on the threads keeps them strong and helps them shrug off snow and rain.

THE PAMPAS TO THE PARK
We designed three belts with pampeano, in colours taken straight from our winter range. Celeste in navy and dusty blue, Bordo Claro in wine and dusty pink, and Black in black and grey with fine white lines.
They sit right on our ski pants on the mountain, and just as well on jeans and chinos in town. The BUSI logo is debossed on the tail. Every belt is quality checked in the UK and comes in a nice pampeano box.
MADE TO LAST
GETS BETTER WITH AGE
Full-grain leather builds a patina over time, so a little care is all it needs. Rub out small marks with your fingers, and now and then work in a thin layer of natural leather wax. Brush the threads with a soft, dry cloth and never wash them, so the wax coating stays on.
